Sorry its been forever since I have updated. Jarom is busy working. He is in New York right now, I am attempting to try to potty train Davey which he isn't into at all. James is loving being in 1st grade so much at parent teacher conference we were told he is the the class clown --not to sure how I feel about that. Hayden is getting ready to be baptized its so crazy to think he old enough to do that and be in boy scouts. Bailey is my busy bee. She is still singing in Tavaci, and now she is playing violin.

On October 13, 2011, Jarom's dad Arlen lost his battle to cancer. He was such great guy, who loved his family.

Here is his Obituary:

NORTH LOGAN, Utah - Russell Arlen Jensen, 58, passed away Oct. 13, 2011, after a valiant struggle with cancer. His sweetheart, Katie, was by his side.
Arlen was born June 10, 1953, to Russell Jensen and Geraldine Drake Jensen, who were wonderful parents. He was raised in Kimberly, Idaho. As a child, he enjoyed camping with his family and taking part in church and school activities. He also loved working on cars. Arlen attended Utah State University.
He married his best friend, Katie, on Oct. 22, 1982. They decided early on to always be kind to each other and they held true to that commitment. Soon after the marriage, Arlen insisted on adopting Katie's four preschool children so they could all be a family with the same last name. They added one more baby and became the family he wanted. No father was ever more devoted and the children knew he would always be there for them. Arlen loved spending time with Katie and worked with her for the past several years at the English Language Center. Arlen had a great talent for being able to fix just about anything and was quick to help when his children needed him. He enjoyed babysitting the grandchildren.
He developed a love for singing at an early age and sang in the ward choir most of his life. Singing in the Easter Cantata each year was a joy for him. He loved sharing his testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through music. He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in numerous callings.
Arlen was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was also a devoted friend. Many people marveled at his non-complaining nature, especially through his illness. He was an example of perseverance, wisdom and humility. He was always "the calm in the storm." Arlen expressed gratitude daily for the kindness of those in his ward and neighborhood. The amazing acts of service rendered by his friends comforted him. He also bonded closely with the staff at the Logan Cancer Center. Dr. Ali Ben Jacob became a true friend. Arlen was surrounded by love because he earned that love throughout his life. His faith in life after death was absolute.
Arlen is survived by his wife, Katie; and by his children, Miranda (Scott) Jenson, Marissa (Malachi) Kaplan, Jarom (Kami), Jordan, and Shayna (Danny) Burton. He is also survived by his father, Russell Jensen; by his siblings, Denece (J) Brighton, Dane (Wanda) and Necia (Roger) Hartgrave; and by 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the North Logan 4th Ward, 2750 N. 800 East, North Logan. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, at Allen Mortuary, 420 E. 1800 North, North Logan, and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the North Logan Cemetery. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net.

Arlen, we miss you everyday and we look forward to seeing you again.

update on the kids

Bailey is still singing in Tavaci and LOVES it.
Hayden just got his tonsils out and is healing up.
James is loving preschool he can count up to 45 by himself
Davey is crusing all around he is running everywhere and he can climb up and down the stairs.

as for Jarom and myself we are doing ok. He is laid off for awhile until Feburary then he will be going to pennisyalaina.

I really want to get a part time job or something while the kids are in school.

So Hayden thought it would be fun to worry Jarom and I by going to a friends house instead of afterschool club and we got a call saying we couldnt find your kid I FREAKED. The kid he went home mom called the school and said she had an extra kid and then took him back to the school. I was at the school when he got back to say the least he is in BIG BIG trouble.

So yesterday we made a super fun trip to the ER. James and Hayden were playing with Jarom's Metal tape measure and they somehow cut the back of James' ear. And today, we found out our sweet James is facing Oral surgery again some time in June. i hope the weekend is much better!

It's a busy month this month. We have 4 birthdays and a wedding anniversary.

On the 15th my Brother-in-law little girl, Raina turns 3. (oh to be young again)
the 16th is Jarom and I 8th wedding anniversary
the 19th is my 30th birthday (how sad I really am starting to feel way way old.
the 25th is Erika 's and if my memory serves me right I think she turns 19 (YEAH I AM GETTING OLD.)
the 27th is Rod's and he will be 39. ( at least I am not that old YET)
If I forgot anyones birthday or special day i am sorry i am now blaming it on my old age.

James Russell Jensen

Since it is coming up on his birthday I thought it be fun to spotlight him.

James Russell Jensen was born on November 20, 2004 at 4:05AM. He weighed 5 lbs 15 oz and was 18 inches long.

He loves to play with blocks and Transformers. He has a great smile. And is enjoying helping mommy with David when the older kids are at school. He loves to sing. He wil be going to preschool next year.

He loves peanut butter and Marshmellows. He likes the Backyardigns. He LOVES to watch Tom and Jerry. He tells me he is Jerry and Hayden is Tom. LOL!!

Davey had his newborn checkup this morning and weight 5lbs 4 oz that is up two oz since he was release. His big 2 wk appt is set for the 23rd. He got to met his Nanna Peggy today.

my 37 weeks appt

Well, I am dilated to a 2 and 60% effaced. i have gave 2 more lbs since my last appt. My BP was 108/64. and i am measuring at 37 CM. My dr told me if davey would get more down in the pelvis she induce me at anytime even before my induction date that is already set which is the 10th so either way i have at least 9 more days until he gets here.

i forgot to take a pic of me at 34 weeks. But here is the latest update about the baby and the family. I have been having lots of contractions. They are all irregular. It starting to kinda drive me nuts cuz i cant get a peaceful night worth of sleep. Bailey is in the second grade this year and is enjoying it she really like her teacher Mr. Bushman. She is back singing in her music group Tavici. Hayden just started Kindergarten and is really really liking it. He amazes me when it comes to homework. He always wants to do even after it finished. His teacher name is Ms. Flanary. and you actually be surprised how much homework a kindergartner has. James is enjoying having mom to himself for the next little while until Davey comes along. Jarom is off working in Monticello Utah. He is now working with both my brothers Rod and Rick. He really likes working with this company. I am just waiting for Davey arrival there isnt much i can do now until he gets here. I should maybe finsih unpacking i only have four or five more boxes to unpack. I just dont know where to put them. or by the time i do i am to dang tired to unpack. LOL!! I hope everyone is in good health and take care everyone

TRIP TO L&D

On July 30t, mommy was hurting really bad in her kidney area. She ended up going to the ER and they sent her to L&D cuz of how far along she was. The Dr order her an ultrasound of her kidneys. SHe had 3 kidney stones. The first one was as big as a cherrio and was blocking the urine from going to the bladder and making her left kidney swell to 2 or 3 times the normal size. The tech checked on how I was doing and I am frank breech presentation. where my head is up and so are my legs my feet are right next to my face. Mommy says i have a big noggin. And she hopes that i turn in the next little while. She still has two kidneys stones in her kidney very small compared to the one. On the morning of AUgust 1st she passed the biggest stone she says it was worst then labor. They kept her over night to make sure her kidney was doing better she got released yesterday morning and Nanna Peggy came down from Star Valley to help her. I was sure nice to have her down.

Alexis Evelyn Leach was born July 1st 2008 at 10:07pm. she weighed 6 lbs 11.5 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. Her parents are very happy to have her here. Parents are Kerri and Steve Leach. Congrats Auntie Kerri and Uncle Steve.

Mommy found out cause of the blood thinners NO EPIDURAL period. Wish her luck when it gets to that day that I have to comesto have me because with Bailey, Hayden, and James she had a epidural.

Today mommy wasnt feeling that well so she went to her dr and they decide to do an ultrasound and well it is a blood Clot and she is now required to give herself two shots a day of blood thinner. SO her high risk pregnancy just became extremely high risk

Poor mommy woke up at 2:30am and went to the bathroom to find that her allergies gave her pink eye in both eyes. She is so miserable. And she claims she wants to scratch her eyes out with a fork if that will help. Lets all hope it goes away soon.

Updating the story

We found out on Feburary 11, 2008. We are expecting. We are due October 18, 2008. We have names picked for a boy: David Grant and a Girl: Sariah Lynn. Right now, I am 13 weeks 4 days.

My 1st dr was on March 25, 2008 and I got to see my little peanut. So far, everything is good. This pregnancy is so much like Bailey's. So, I hope that means another little girl. Bailey really wants a baby sister. Hayden wants me to have a baby rattlesnake. And James (JJ) wants me to have a baby duck and fish. Jarom wants another son. I dont think i could handle more testorone in our home. I will update you after my next Dr appt which is April 22 at 11 am. Or if anything happens between then.
